This Declaration is intended for persons who have been introduced to the Virgil Alternative Investments UK Ltd website (the “Introduced Investor” or “you”) by The Platform Ltd (the “introducer”). It sets out the terms on which introductions can be made in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and requests the Introduced Investor’s confirmation to Virgil Alternative Investments UK Ltd (“Virgil”) that the introduction was made properly. 

Introducer’s role 

The introducer’s remit in introducing you to Virgil is strictly limited to providing a link to the Virgil website with a view to obtaining information on independent advisory services in relation to alternative investments generally. The introducer is not authorised to otherwise promote or advise you about the merits of buying investments and you must base any decision to contact, obtain advice from or invest through Virgil entirely on the information contained in the Virgil website or information that we subsequently provide to you. 

Declaration 

I have read and understand the above explanation of the introducer’s role. 

I confirm that in making the introduction, the introducer did not exceed the role described above and did not provide  me with advice or make any statement that I will rely upon in making any investment decisions. I will base any decision to contact, obtain advice from or invest through Virgil entirely on the information provided to me by Virgil.

I authorise Virgil Alternative Investments UK Ltd and The Platform Ltd to rely on my declaration as having been made truthfully.
